Built Bar: A Great Protein Bar

Protein Bar Sadness

Before I started Weight Watchers, I depended upon protein bars for a snack. I usually ate at least one of these bars a day. When I scanned one of these bars on my WW app, it was 8 points! That was 1/3 of the points that I was allotted for the day. I wasn’t willing to devote that many points to a snack. That was a sad day for me until I found Built Bar.

Low Points, Big Flavor

I then heard about Built Bars and my protein bar prayers were answered. They were high protein, low carb and only 3 points. Yes! With so many flavors to choose from, I knew that I’d find at least one flavor that I liked. The flavors that they have are: coconut chocolate creme (my personal favorite), raspberry chocolate creme, double chocolate mousse, orange chocolate creme, mint chocolate creme, lemon chocolate creme, strawberry chocolate creme, salted caramel chocolate, vanilla chocolate creme, and cinnamon chocolate creme.

Check the Texture

These bars have a very unique texture. It is like a chocolate covered marshmallow with the whatever flavor you choose. I love them, but some people have commented that they aren’t wild about the texture. Totally a personal preference. I loved these bars so much, that I became a Built Bar ambassador. If you would like to give them a try, here is a link with my special discount code https://builtbar.com enter code: kimcode

Custom Ordering

You can order a box of 6 to try different flavors and once you give them a try, you can order a bigger box of your favorite or build your own box. I personally wouldn’t order an entire big box until you give them a try. There was a temporary mocha flavor which I thought I would have loved, but when I tried a sample, I didn’t like it at all!

I would love to know if you try them! Give them a try and tell me what you think.

*I do get compensation for each code that is used, but I would promote these bars even if I didn’t get the compensation….I love them that much.

We can all use a little more protein in our diets, I’m sure.

I’m in constant need of protien bars. I’m a busy mom of six, so I am always on the lookout for another good one for when I’m on the go (which is always)!

It’s so hard to find a protein bar that tastes good and has good nutrition facts, too! Protein bars are always thought of as “healthy” but so many are packed with carbs and fat. I will definitely be checking these out, thanks for sharing!

These sound really yummy! I feel like I’ve tried so many protein bars and you’re right it’s really all about personal preference when it comes to texture, etc. I’ll have to give these ones a try soon!

I wake up early to work quietly before the madness of family starts around here. I need some protein, but can’t cook, afraid I’ll wake the kiddos. This protein bar would be perfect, especially since it’s high protein and low carb.
