Blogging Challenge – My Workout Jam

Posted on November 14, 2015August 18, 2022 By Kim 12 Comments on Blogging Challenge – My Workout Jam
Love

Today we needed to make a playlist of our workout jam.  I usually go to a class so they have the playlist made already.  There are, however, certain songs that just pump up the volume and make me want to work harder.

Don’t Stop Believin’ – Journey

I love this song when I’m spinning…very powerful and motivating.

Uptown Funk – Mark Ronson with Bruno Mars

I like this song at any time, working out or not.  I love the beat and it is just a fun song.

Titanium – Collin McLoughlin

I like this song when I’m spinning and I’m going up a hill.  It just gives you the extra push…like you can do anything.

I Love It – Icona Pop

Love this one for spin too…another fun song and beat.

Cruise – Florida Georgia Line

I love this song when I am walking…it makes me walk a little faster.

On the Floor – Jennifer Lopez with Pitbull

Another great song for walking…makes you move faster.

I know that I am all over the place with my song choices, but I like a lot of different styles of music and they all speak to me in different ways.  This is by no means the end of my list…just a few motivating, workout jamming songs.

What is your favorite workout jam??

So many good picks! I too like an eclectic mix of music to keep me going. Right now though I’m in the mood for all things Linkin Park 🙂

Awesome workout playlist! I like variety in my playlists, but when I am struggling with my runs I like to play reggaeton because the consistent beats help me set the tempo.

I too like songs with a beat that I can walk or spin to.

Thank you for this! I was genuinely thinking today on my run that I was so bored of the same old workout music and needed some new ideas, but had no idea where to start…thanks for the recommendations!
