I love doing this post every week because it is a nice way to reflect on the past week and to recall things that sparked/spark joy!!!
1 – Today I went to a Starbucks that I hadn’t visited in many months. The Barista said that she hadn’t seen me in a long time and then she proceeded to rattle off my daily order from LAST fall! It wasn’t an easy order either…decaf PSL with nonfat milk, 2 pumps of pumpkin syrup and no foam/no whip. I didn’t even remember that that was what I ordered last fall. It really made my day!!!!
2-My football team is still undefeated…sorry haters!!!
3-My nephew’s college went from not being ranked to being ranked 18th in the country. Go Tigers!!!!
4-I had parent conferences on Thursday and they all went well. They can be very stressful, especially when you don’t know the parents or if you have to bring up any concerns that you have. Everything went smoothly.
5-I got a great package from my partner, Darcus from Rainy Days and Pajamas . We were swap partners in Swapoween at CG Swaps.
6-I’ve gotten some great shouts outs from JV at JV Krakowski. We are in an October Blogging Challenge and she is doing a much better job of accomplishing the challenge than I am.
7-Friday night hockey….LOVE it
8-Haven’t been getting to my barre class lately, but I went on Thursday and it felt so good. It really boosted my mood and made me feel good.
9-Great spin class at Fitness Balanced
10-Another great swap…this time a sweater swap at Coffee with Summer. My partner Jenn from What You Make It blog did a great job and I love all my goodies:)
I remember when you first mentioned those swaps. Looks like you had a fun time participating!
LOVE doing the swaps…can’t wait for the Christmas swap:)
What a great idea to do every week! And oh my goodness, the memory of that barista! Congrats on being done with parent teacher conferences and that they all went well! That has to be a relief! I just went to my first one as my son just entered kindergarten. I’m happy that went well!!
Don’t be nervous going into a parent conference…teachers are usually as nervous as you are so just talk to them like you would a friend:)
oh! I get it! that photo up there at #4 is only the last three letters of ‘Tigers’! lol love the way the mind works (and the crazy conditions that it allows to pass for normal…i.e. I did not connect the E R S to spelling the word TIGERS. I just saw it as some fans with letters painted on their chests.) Go!!! ERS!!!
lol fun post
Amazing post! You have a great blog:)
What about following each other on Instagram, Bloglovin, Twitter?

OMG! Thanks for the shoutout! =)
Thanks back at ya!!!
What great swap packages! How fun!
🙂
I can barely remember what I ate for lunch yesterday. How in the ever-lovin’ world did that person remember your order from last year?!?!?!? I could not be more impressed.
It’s fun to watch sports, but even more fun when your team starts (or keeps!) winning! Congrats to your teams. 🙂
So glad conferences went well for you. Those can be a marathon of emotions, depending on the class.
I was thoroughly impressed:)
I spotted some Hot Tamales. Love those! Spinning and a barre class? I tip my hat!
LOVE Hot Tamales!!!
I remember you mentioning these swaps – looks like you’ve been having a good time! And yes, teachers are just as nervous about conferences. Just relax and don’t stress!
LOVE my blogger swaps…they have been awesome.
Glad your teams are doing so well.
🙂
Thanks Kerry
A very extroverted TToT – love it! 🙂
Thanks Vince
I love the idea of a Gratitude Journal and remember when Oprah started the gratitude revolution back in the mid 1990s (remember that?!) They say you can’t be upset or depressed when you’re grateful. Cheers! xo
Love the name of your blog:)
It’s always great to reflect on what we’re thankful for. We’re doing a gratitude link up in November! You should join us! Thanks for sharing 🙂
Sounds good…thanks Tiffany
Glad you made it through the teacher conference okay. My husband is a retired teacher, so I certainly know that parents and teachers may experience a little bit of anxiousness in meeting one another. The swaps sound like fun.
LOVE the swaps:)
