My Goals – Blog Challenge Day 1

Posted on October 1, 2015August 20, 2022 By Kim 13 Comments on My Goals – Blog Challenge Day 1
Love

This is the first day of a month long challenge.  I wrote goals for various areas of my life.  I feel that they are doable and since I am a goal-oriented person, these are things that I will definitely consistently work on because they are now in print for all to see.  Good luck on all your goals, blog challengers and blog challenge readers:)

  1. Fitness:  work on strength and endurance
  2. Nutrition:  keep on track with IIFYM (If It Fits Your Macros)
  3. Work:  stay positive and don’t let the little things infiltrate to breed negativity
  4. Home:  work at being the best mother, dogmom, and wife/partner that I can be
  5. Blog:  increase my email subscription list..hint, hint, LOL
  6. Gratitude:  continue to write 5 things that I am thankful for in my journal everyday:)IMG_4714

Good luck with your fitness goals! I’ve been trying to work more on my fitness too, especially since now I have a city job and have free access to their fitness facilities-there goes my last excuse! Also, I’ve never heard of IIFYM, what is that?

IIFYM is If It Fits Your Macros…there is a formula to figure out how many macros (protein, fat, carbs, fiber) you need to lose weight, maintain weight or gain weight). You then stay within those macros and can pretty much eat anything (as long as you stay within the macros). It has worked best for me out of all the eating plans I have done (I don’t like to call it a diet because it needs to become a lifelong habit.)

What is all of this macros talk? I am intrigued!

I agree about the fitness and anti-negativity. We only have time for those good vibrations! 🙂

Waking up and writing down positive affirmations helps remind us to be grateful. We are surrounded with blessings and abundance.

    Btw your dog is adorable!!!!!!
