Ten Things of Thankful
These are not in order of importance:)
1.This article about starting/building a business that can actually be applied to many non-business oriented areas of your life.
Six Rules for Business Success
2. This post about doing what you love and loving what you do. It was like it was written about my situation right at this moment.
3. This podcast on School Of Greatness…Rick Hanson, author of Hardwiring Happiness, explains how we need to take the time to connect with positive things in our lives in order to make our thought process more positive and….happy!!!!
School of Greatness podcast: Rick Hanson
4. To piggyback on the podcast, I am listening to Rick Hanson’s book Hardwiring Happiness on Audible. Makes so much sense and I listen to it in my car when I am driving from here to there. I am lucky to have Bluetooth from my phone to my car stereo so it automatically comes on whenever I start my car:)

5. My friend/co-worker and I have been talking about being more positive when the new school year begins (we both teach elementary school). I sent her an article about being happier and she sent one back. All the steps are very doable…it’s just making them a habit that takes work.
10 Simple Tips to Live Happy, Wild and Free
6. Having co-workers that are willing to get on your positivity bandwagon with you!!!
7. Having a 13 year old who still likes “hanging out” with his mom!!!
8. Absolutely perfect beach days:)
9. 70 Pure Barre classes under my belt
10. Meeting so many great people in the blogging community
We will give our passion our best effort if we continue to love what we do. Go for it, my friend!
Thanks, as always, for your kind words!!!!
I definitely need to check out a couple of these articles – what a great way to do the TToT list! I’m very interested in the link under #2.
And #10 – definitely!
Definitely check them out…also the Rockstar Academy podcast…just found that yesterday:)
What a great list! I am an annoyingly positive person, so I’m all for you jumping on that positivity bandwagon. And as a preschool teacher, I also know it’s hard to stay on it all the time when you’re a teacher! Oh, and I’m always envious of anyone who has easy beach access.
I’m a kindergarten teacher so I totally hear ya!!!! I’m going to REALLY try hard to be positive and joyous this year. My teacher neighbor and I are working on it together:)
I have to check out these links…very timely…thanks!
I also found another great podcast: Rockstar Academy…check that out too:)
Hip hip hooray for a positive bandwagon! It will be even easier to stay positive when you have someone in that wagon with you.
As for beach days, as far as I’m concerned from here in beachless Indiana, any day at the beach is a perfect beach day. 🙂
Soak up that time with the 13 year old. Hopefully it will continue all the way through the teen years.
LOVE your positive outlook…thanks for all your kind words…I don’t think I could ever live more than a 1/2 hour from the beach…it’s my happy place:)
As someone who did some really harsh self-evaluation today, I can really appreciate your efforts to become more positive. It’s a worthy goal and one I need to continue working on.
LOVE the name of your blog, by the way. Keep thinking about it and working on it. It definitely isn’t easy, but it is so worth it. Have a great evening:)
I love getting to know others through their blogs as well.
🙂
Sounds like an interesting book and Podcast.
Thanks for stopping by:)
Love the energy I feel in your list. Is it the barre classes, the positive podcasts, or a combo?! I need to have what you’re having!
Oh my goodness…thanks for the positive comments. You made my day!!! I think it is a combo of all the things I am doing. I am making a concerted effort to be more positive:)
